Director of Early Years

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and hard working Early Years specialist to play a significant role in the setting up of a new training company in Dubai.

The successful candidate would need an Early Years or teaching qualification, a background in working in Early Years settings and experience in professional development of other professionals. It would also be beneficial to have experience of a leadership role in an early years, education or training setting.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:

• Building positive relationships with Early Years settings, schools and other relevant clients
• Play an active role in promoting courses and training to potential candidates and settings
• Deliver training and tutorials alongside the eLearning training of Early Years, Teaching Assistant and Playwork accredited courses
• Delivering half and one day training courses on topics relevant to working with children in a range of settings
• Observing candidates in their setting and monitoring them against the criteria of the qualification
• Providing candidates with supportive feedback
• Leading other assessors and trainers in the team
• Liaising with the senior management team of Paragon to ensure growth and success of the company

Personal Characteristics & Qualifications

• Must be a hard working self-starter with a positive and flexible disposition
• The ability to think creatively
• Experience of delivering training is essential
• Experience of delivering accredited qualifications would be beneficial
• Relevant degree level qualification in Early Years Education or Teaching
• Experience of working in a range of settings with children including Early Years and schools
• Qualifications in assessing and verification would be beneficial
