Position Title: SABIS® Director of English
Experience: 10+ years in Education, Educational Publishing, Curriculum Development
Position Summary:
- Set the department strategy and yearly goals
- Assign objectives and tasks to team leaders
- Monitor team(s) performance and activity
- Train new staff members, and ensure that training, including soft skills, needs of the department are met
- Interview and recruit new team members
- Show, using data, the real impact of projects carried out on the company's bottom line and school academic performance and plan for the next version of the product as necessary
- Manage performance evaluation process for key members of the department
- Come up with new projects that enhance performance in schools
- Remain up-to-date with subject and related IT developments worldwide
- Report periodically on department progress
- Set the department budget and manage it
Education Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Major
- Ph.D. is a plus
