St Aidan's Catholic Academy is a very successful, supportive and high performing school. We aim to build on a recent 'Good' judgement from Ofsted by appointing highly motivated, exceptional individuals to ensure our Academy continues to grow and reach its full potential in the next two years. We are looking to recruit an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic individual as Director of Finance and Corporate Services to help us achieve this goal.

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team of the Academy Trust, the post holder will lead the development of the Trust's financial and business support functions. These will include Finance, Human Resources, Governance Support, Public Relations, Marketing, H&S, Estates and IT Support functions. The post holder will also lead and support the development of the Trust as a Multi Academy Trust.

St Aidan’s Catholic Academy is an all-boys, non-selective, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form in Tyne and Wear, serving students from the age of 11-18. The secondary school, situated in Sunderland has approximately 950 students on record. It’s sister school, St Anthony’s Girls Catholic Academy is located close by. 

Formerly St Aidan’s Catholic School, St Aidan’s Catholic Academy converted to academy status in 2013.
