Director of Higher Education, Suffolk
West Suffolk College is the largest Learning Network Partner of University Campus Suffolk (UCS) with over 650 HE in FE students and this role is to lead the development and co-ordination of the new School of Higher Education and Access to Higher Education. The current portfolio of 5 Access to HE programmes, 15 validated Foundation degrees and 14 routes to Honours degrees provide an excellent established platform for growth. You will promote rigorous quality enhancement and compliance for all programmes which result in high levels of student satisfaction and achievement.
As a qualified teacher you will also have a Masters level degree and a post-graduate management qualification. Experience of curriculum development for both HE and Access and a proven ability to work in partnership with other HE institutions and employers are essential. A strong understanding of the processes for audit, planning, validating and HE quality compliance are also key requirements.
