Are you an inspiring, highly motivated and enthusiastic leader who has the passion for learning? You will be a specialist in Religious Studies, History or Geography. You will help shape the vision for Humanities within this vibrant North London Academy. The Humanities subjects offered from Year 7 to Year 13 include Literacy Based Humanities, Geography, History and Religious Studies at KS3; GCSE courses in Geography, History, RS, Citizenship and Sociology. In the rapidly expanding 6th Form, the faculty is well-represented with Preparation for Working Life at Level 2 and World Development, Sociology and Psychology at AS and A2. Examination results so far have been excellent.

The Humanities Faculty at Nightingale Academy is currently a team of eight dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated professionals. The vision has always been to prepare students for life beyond formal education. This is evident in the Literacy Based Humanities offered to students who struggle to make the transition between Primary and Secondary and the enrichment courses offered to 6th Formers. A new Director of Humanities is sought following the successful promotion of the current Director of Humanities.

Nightingale Academy is part of the London Academies Enterprise Trust (LAET) sponsored by the Academies Enterprise Trust (AET). The curriculum offered is purposeful, stimulating and designed to meet the needs of all our students.
