De Ferrers is an over-subscribed Academy on the rural outskirts of Burton upon Trent, within easy access of Birmingham, Nottingham and Derby. The Academy has a reputation for academic achievement, a positive ethos, excellent staff/student relationships and is committed to the personal and professional development of its staff. In recent years, the Academy has developed a national reputation for innovation and success in using Learning technologies and ICT. The Academy is an Apple Regional Training Centre, with 1:1 use of iPads in several year groups.
This is a pivotal role within the Academy, we are looking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic leader to continue to raise levels of achievement within this area. The faculty is very well resourced and prides itself on a strong record of success and this role offers an exceptional opportunity to further develop teaching and learning, working within a strong team of committed staff.
