We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and forward thinking colleague to lead our Maths Faculty

If you are able to:-

  • Inspire, motivate and develop our students.
  • Sustain our school focus upon raising the achievement of every student in our care.
  • Exude a passion for Maths and its application to student learning and the wider world of work.
  • Be willing to share and develop good practice, not only in the Maths faculty but across all areas of our school.
  • Lead a dynamic Maths teaching team through exciting curriculum development which will enrich students' experience of Maths.

This key role will be part of our extended leadership team. The department is located in a suite of rooms each equipped with an interactive whiteboard and data projector. This post would suit an aspiring or experienced middle leader and would be excellent preparation for a senior leadership role.

Thomas Becket Catholic School is a mixed Roman Catholic secondary school for 11- to 18-year-olds in Northampton. There are currently around 846 students in attendance. The sixth form offers pupils the chance to study AS, A-Level and BTEC qualifications.

Thomas Becket Catholic School achieved its best ever exam results at GCSE and A-Level in 2016, making it one of the top co-educational schools in Northampton.
