Looking for a senior leadership position enhancing Science?

Join the Fylde Coast Academy Trust's quality team to work in our local schools and college leading Science developments.

You are an outstanding teacher of Science with experience of leading Science in the secondary curriculum and gaining very successful outcomes for young people.

FCAT is a local academy trust formed by the outstanding organisations of Hodgson Academy and Blackpool Sixth Form College. From October 1st we will have three sponsored academies all keen to improve their results in Science. Based in one, you will be able to work across all five organisations supporting a coherent strategy for Science. One of our academies is a through school for ages 3-16.

Our Teaching School has recently gained SCITT accreditation and is seeking to increase the number of ITT students in Science. We are also working with the Royal Society of Chemistry who will be appointing a Chemistry fellow based at the Sixth Form College to support educational developments in Chemistry. If you have the ideas and the ambition to improve science performance for young people in this area and would like to join a new team, we would be keen to hear from you.
