An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual with outstanding qualities and proven leadership skills, who will further strengthen leadership across the Academy. We are looking for an inspiring and outstanding practitioner to lead the Mathematics department and Numeracy across the Academy.
In December 2013, the Academy faced huge disappointment when the Office for Standards in Education deemed that it was necessary to place the school in 'Special Measures'. While, over the last three years the Academy's attainment figures have remained consistent, the current emphasis on progress places it below the national average for Mathematics. Prior to this in 2010/11 the Office for Standards in Education judged the Academy to be outstanding. We are now embarked on an exciting journey to once again be judged as an outstanding Academy.
