The Rugeley Academies require an inspirational Director to lead the Mathematics Faculty.
We are looking for an excellent classroom practitioner who shows outstanding commitment to mathematics, and has the drive to raise attainment, build effective teams, led by example and prepare youngsters for the challenges that lie ahead.
This is a unique opportunity for a well-qualified teacher, with Subject Leader experience in Mathematics who has taught across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5 and wishes to take up the challenge of leading this core faculty at The Rugeley Academies.
The Rugeley Academies consist of Fair Oak Academy, Hagley Park Academy and Rugeley Sixth Form Academy; these Academies are based on two sites. The Academies are part of the Creative Education Trust. CEAT believes that by teaching young people to be creative, innovative, practical and enterprising, we can ensure the best educational outcomes for students and the future growth of the UK as a competitive economy.
The Rugeley Academies provide the Simply Health Cash Plan for their staff to help cover check-ups and medical treatment such as physiotherapy, osteopathy and acupuncture. Gym membership is discounted.

Fair Oak Academy, Hagley Park Academy and the Rugeley Sixth Form Academy opened in September 2011 under the sponsorship of The Creative Education Academies Trust. We have made significant progress in raising standards and expectations across the town and we are now looking to add more outstanding teachers and leaders to our existing team.
