Are you a committed leader of education, passionate about raising standards to offer outstanding education within a Christian ethos to children, young people and families in our local communities?
Following the appointment of Revd Simon Cade to be our new Diocesan Director of Education and Discipleship, we are looking for an experienced headteacher to support Simon in his work with schools and education professionals across the Diocese, and in particular to lead on school standards, school improvement and development including SIAMS.
You will have a strong track record of building effective relationships with others to deliver high quality education, with a deep knowledge of the primary phase and a clear vision for the role of the Church in the modern education landscape. You will be able to demonstrate how your leadership has helped one or more schools to achieve significant and sustained improvement of their distinctive educational offer, and you will know from direct experience what outstanding Christian education looks like and how to get there.
Salary by negotiation, within teachers' leadership pay spine L21-L25 (2013-14 equivalent £61,901 - £68,279).
