Set in the coastal town of Puerto de Santa Maria in Southern Spain, The English Centre provides its pupils with an outstanding bilingual education. We are looking for internationally minded people with experience of the Foundation Stage and active learning who wish to form part of our educational community.

We are currently looking to recruit qualified and experienced teachers to join our motivated successful team at The English Centre. Set in the coastal town of Puerto de Santa Maria in Southern Spain, the school provides its pupils with an outstanding bilingual education. Our pupils start their learning in an English speaking environment within the Early Years Department. Children have the opportunity to experience a wide range of activities and benefit from a self-contained setting with a large outdoor classroom. In Key Stage 1 & 2 the International Curriculum covers more than 50% of the timetable. We are looking for internationally minded people with experience in topic based learning who wish to form a part of our educational community.

Essential Requirements

A dedicated, professional teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Early Years qualification for our English EYFS
  • Primary Qualification for Key Stage 1/2
  • A strong knowledge and understanding of British Curriculum or PYP
  • Successful record of planning and delivering engaging learning activities
  • Familiar with the use of the IPad in the classroom
  • Some knowledge or willingness to learn Spanish
  • A current enhanced CRB check
