The British School of Warsaw in Wilanow is looking for Early Years Foundation Stage Teachers to teach 3-6 year old children.

BSW is located in Warsaw, Poland in a prestigious neighborhood of Wilanow. BSW curriculum is based on the National Curriculum of England with varying modifications designed to meet the needs of international students. BSW consists of Junior and Senior schools providing holistic British education from Nursery to Sixth Form. The Junior School has 8 large classrooms, large outdoor area outdoor covered soft play area, mini-zoo and parents' reception/meeting area. The Junior School is located in completely new building which has just been constructed.

To be considered for this Early Years position you will be an experienced and self-driven educator who is able to work as part of an enthusiastic team providing top notch British education. Ideally applicants should be able to provide good classroom management, time management and provide balanced, fun and engaging lessons. Applicants must be willing to play a full part in the life of the school, including co-curricular activities and numerous school events.

The successful candidate should:

  • Possess good knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Have a proven track record of outstanding Early Years practice
  • Be able to engage, motivate and support children, staff and parents
  • Be a reflective practitioner with the ability to think creatively and innovatively in order to continue to improve
  • Have the interpersonal skills needed to work successfully within teams

Requirements needed:

  • Applicant must have knowledge of the British Early Years Foundation Stage with Teaching Experience of at least 2 years.

About British Primary School of Wilanow

Warsaw's British Primary School of Wilanow (BSW) is a young and ambitious school with a simple aim: to provide children with an outstanding educational experience.

BSW is a Compliant Member of COBIS and is the first School in Poland to successfully complete this accreditation. The School is an independent organisation, not a part of any group of schools.

BSW follows the Cambridge Primary Programme. Every class from Reception has a British-qualified Class Teacher and a Support Teacher attached.

The school is in its sixth year of operation and currently goes from Nursery to Year 8. From September 2020, there will be classes through to Year 9. 

BSW is situated in a brand-new, purpose-built facility in the upscale Warsaw suburb of Wilanow, with fashionable cafes and restaurants on one side, rolling fields on the other. The school is in the middle of an ambitious construction plan to support its relentless expansion.
