We are seeking to appoint, as soon as possible, An Early Years Foundation Stage Manager.
Experience of managing a foundation stage setting is essential.
This post is for 32.4 hours a week, and will involve managing 7 members of the Early Years Team consisting of 1 teacher, 1 Unqualified Teacher, 1 HLTA, 2 Nursery Nurses and 2 Teaching Assistants.
Knowledge and Implementation of the Early Years Framework is essential.
The successful person will also be part of the School's Leadership Team and will need to have experience of strategic management. Including designated management time each week.
We would like you to have experience of supporting children's social, emotional and behavioural needs; be sympathetic, calm and caring and be able to work as part of a team.

The successful candidates need to be able to work closely with all staff in the school and demonstrate a range of support strategies. We are looking for enthusiastic practitioners who can motivate and support vulnerable children. The posts are fixed term due to funding.

Milefield Primary School is situated in the village of Grimethorpe close to the town of Barnsley. The school contains a specialised Early Years Unit for foundation and reception children, separate classes for Key Stage 1, Year 1, mixed Year 1/2 and Year 2, and seperate classes for Key Stage 2, Years 3, mixed year 3/4, year 4, 5 and 6.
Milefield also contains a Children's Centre providing a range of services for children and families.
