Five Rivers is a sector leading Childcare organisation with 25 years' experience within this field.

We provide an integrated approach to childcare and education for our children who are accommodated with our foster carers and within our small residential homes.

We are seeking two well qualified and experienced education consultants/advisors (North & South).

The successful candidates will have a thorough knowledge of independent school registration, 162A Ofsted inspection framework, the commissioning of Alternative Education Provision, LAC and SEN legislation, (particularly in the light of the Children and Families Bill 2014). Evidence of whole school improvement to raise attainment and quality assurance work will be essential. The post holders will also be expected to contribute to the tendering process.

The post requires collaborative working within a multi-disciplinary team supported within a therapeutic framework. Therefore the post holder must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs of traumatised children who display challenging behaviour and who have emotional and social difficulties.

An ability to deliver training is desirable.
