Vision for Education are working in partnership with Milton Keynes College who deliver the Offender Learning and Skills Service (OLASS) Phase 4 contracts for East Midlands, West Midlands and South Central, providing education to 30 prisons across these 3 regions and deliver at a range of establishments. The curriculum in prisons has been developed to have a sharper focus on those offenders who are approaching the end of their sentence, so supporting them to access real work opportunities in the prisons and re-enter the employment market on release.

We are currently recruiting for:

• Employability Tutor (Part time)

You will have:

• Relevant qualification at Level 3 or above.
• A teaching qualification (PTTLS or above).
• An assessor award (desirable) Verifier awards (desirable).
• Training or vocational experience in a relevant range of construction skills.
• A proven track record of managing and supporting diverse groups of learners through nationally accredited programmes (desirable).
• Experience of working with students who may have little experience of education and training (desirable).
• Accuracy and precision in written presentation.
• A good working knowledge of Health & Safety issues.
• A good level of IT literacy and willing to develop further.
