The role

We are seeking a dynamic individual to contribute to the raising of standards and secure pupil outcomes in schools through the effective development, and statutory obligations of the teaching of English.

Joining a dedicated team, the postholder will provide support and challenge, intervening and identifying schools, where necessary, at an early stage in order to ensure schools meet high standards of pupil attainment in English.

You are an experienced, qualified teacher and subject leader with recent experience of teaching successfully in a primary school at Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This will enable you to support schools in the analysis of pupil performance and assessment data, target setting and action planning.

Providing school-based consultancy, including: -

• modelling and demonstrating teaching;
• coaching teachers and giving feedback;
• supporting teachers with planning, assessment, and pupil tracking, including the analysis of data and curricular target setting.
