Bromley College is the major provider of vocational education and training in the Bromley area. We provide a distinctive range of courses for young people and a wide range of professional and employment related qualifications for adults.
We are seeking to recruit an inspirational and outstanding teacher/lecturer of English with well development management skills to lead a successful and busy department that will deliver high quality English programmes to a broad range of students and College clients of all levels from entry level/functional skills through to level 3.
With responsibility for the planning and delivery of a curriculum offer which meets the needs of students and employers, delivers funding and success targets and achieves the mandatory attainment of English qualifications, the successful candidate will also undertake an agreed teaching timetable of approximately 10 hours per week.
Candidates will be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and hold a full teaching qualification and demonstrate evidence of continued professional development. To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience of complex curriculum planning and timetabling, cost effective deployment of staff and other resources and ideally possess knowledge and understanding of funding streams and methodologies.
