Job overview

We are seeking an experienced English intervention teacher to join our successful school on a part-time basis (approx. 1 - 2 days per week; arrangements will be discussed). The position will have a focus on learning and teaching and candidates will have experience in delivering support and interventions (e.g. catch-up classes) to raise pupil attainment.

Platanos College is a high-performing school with high expectations. We have a new state-of-the-art building with superb ICT facilities.

About Platanos College

Platanos College is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form situated in South London. It is an academy state school supported by the Platanos Trust, a multi-academy trust set up with the intention of raising standards and preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century. The school will provide 1,000 places for secondary pupils aged 11-19, when fully subscribed.

An academy converter, Platanos College reopened in February 2011. It was the first school in the Platanos Trust.
