As part of our school expansion, we are creating specialist posts. We want to appoint an experienced class teacher with responsibility for the teaching of English across the school.

You will:

  • Support class teachers to deliver high quality English teaching across the curriculum
  • Provide excellent models of English teaching
  • Work effectively with staff across the whole school community
  • Support staff to develop an excellent English curriculum
  • Monitor and analyse pupil performance in English
  • Lead the school community to achieve high standards in reading, writing and spoken language

We will provide:

  • A brilliant school community with talented children, dedicated staff, committed parents and governors
  • Support from a leadership team with a clear vision for educational improvement
  • Excellent CPD focussed on school development priorities

Experienced English subject leaders or class teachers with a proven track record of excellent English teaching are welcome to apply. Visits to the school are recommended.
