English Teacher and Curriculum Lead, Solihull 

Oaklands School is shortly to become an academy under the sponsorship of

Northern House School Academy Trust, Oxford. You will therefore be joining this superbly equipped special ESBD School for boys and girls aged 4-16 at an exciting time in its development. We wish to recruit a motivated, enthusiastic and suitably skilled and experienced teacher to work mainly in the secondary division of the school but to act as guide and colleague support to teachers in the primary division as well. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to work with a forward-thinking school and an outstanding sponsor.

These posts will be based at Oaklands School in North Solihull, but opportunities will exist to visit and support English teachers at Northern House School in Oxford.

You will be a:-

• Teacher with substantial experience of helping children and young people with emotional, social and behavioural difficulties.
• Self-motivated, ambitious and inspired by their profession;
• A consistently outstanding or good teacher who is keen to continue to develop professionally and share best practice with colleagues.
• An excellent communicator at all levels, who is able to work well collaboratively,but also an independent thinker.
