Haberdashers' Monmouth School for Girls seeks to appoint a full-time English teacher from January 2015. The applicant will join an experienced and committed team, comprising three full-time and one part-time specialist teachers. The department is committed to the highest standards and enjoys excellent GCSE and A Level results. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, energetic and innovative in delivering AS and A2 Level English Literature. Knowledge of IGCSE and OCR syllabus preferred but not essential.

A contribution to the wider life of a day and boarding school, both in pastoral and extra-curricular activities, is expected. We offer a friendly and supportive working environment. Monmouth School For Girls is an independent day and boarding school based in Monmouthshire for girls aged 11-18.
The school was founded in 1892 and is part of the family of Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools, which owe their existence to William Jones, a liveryman of the Haberdashers’ Company, who bequeathed funds to establish a school in 1614. Entry to the school is selective and, where possible, pupils are interviewed.
