Pay Scale: Soulbury 20 - 23 plus 3 additional discretionary SPA points / Soulbury 20 - 23 plus 3 additional discretionary SPA points

The role of the ERW Challenge Adviser for Schools covers a number of broad areas of school improvement within the ERW Western Hub arrangements between Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire: You will be a link officer to a group of schools and work within an area team, will have specific subject or phase responsibilities and will have specific leadership, management and whole team roles within the School Improvement Service across the two LA Hubs.

You will have extensive teaching experience and recent experience as a successful and senior leader in a school or education setting. You must have knowledge and experience of current national strategies and priorities in education at both national and regional level. You will be qualified to degree level or equivalent and hold Qualified Teacher Status.

Secondments will be considered.
