Department of Essential Skills
Essential Skills Leader Ref: 540
The department of Essential Skills is looking to recruit a Course Leader for English to coordinate the delivery of GCSE English and Functional Skills English programmes.
This role will also include a substantial teaching commitment on these programmes.
The department provides a service across the college delivering GCSE English to 16-18 learners from a range of curriculum departments.
In addition the role will involve delivering Functional Skills English and GCSE English to 19+ learners.
The department delivered substantially improved GCSE English high grade pass rates in 13/14 and is looking for a high quality individual to further drive improvements.
