Preston's College is a forward thinking and progressive FE Establishment that is dedicated to the provision of exceptional teaching, learning and skills development set against a regional agenda to constantly improve student and economic outcome. As the College looks to raise the bar in terms of educational standards and student aspirations, there is now a need to recruit an experienced Executive Director of Resources to help guide the organisation through the next stage in its sustainable development.    

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will work in partnership with the senior leadership team to shape the strategic direction of the College, through the management of finance and development of commercial partnerships and funding streams to maximise efficiencies and opportunities for growth. You will provide day-to-day line management to a broad spectrum of services including finance, management information, estates, human resources and IT.

The successful applicant will be a qualified finance professional with a wealth of strategic experience, ideally gained within a highly complex and culturally diverse environment. With a proven track record of managing budgets, you will have outstanding analytical and commercial skills enabling you to effectively contribute to strategic planning and support growth. You will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to engage at all levels across a range of functions and outside the organisation to solve complex strategic challenges through deliverable and workable business solutions.
