The Alternative Provision Schools for Gloucester and Forest and Stroud and Cotswold

This is an excellent and exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to lead and shape provision across two Pupil Referral Units currently comprising of five centres in Gloucester, Forest of Dean and Stroud.

The Management Committee is looking for a candidate who:-

  • has a clear vision for outstanding alternative provision
  • can demonstrate their passion and proven track record of delivering outstanding outcomes for vulnerable pupils
  • is highly successful in building and developing strong staff teams to meet the needs of all learners through a commitment to high quality CPD for all staff
  • is a dynamic, innovative and solution focussed leader
  • can demonstrate an ability to engage and work with a range of stakeholders including those who may be hard to reach
  • has a demonstrable understanding of driving school improvement through highly effective monitoring and evaluation
  • will work closely with the Management Committee and Business Manager to ensure the best possible use of resources and value for money.
