The Parish Federation of St Mary's and St Catherine's, Swindon requires an EXECUTIVE HEADTEACHER

The Governing Body of this newly formed Multi Academy Trust, (MAT), is seeking to appoint an Executive Headteacher following the retirement of the previous Executive Headteacher.

Both these schools, approximately 2 miles apart, serve the parish of St Mary's in Swindon and the person appointed must be a practising Catholic with a deep personal faith who will create a culture of vocation within the MAT and the parish community, putting Jesus at the centre of everything that happens and enabling all to be the best they can be.

The Governing Body requires an individual, with qualified teacher status, who is an inspirational leader, capable of operating at a strategic level. This person must have a proven track record of successful School leadership.

Both schools are popular and oversubscribed, filled with happy children, eager to learn. The close collaboration between the two schools ensures a common engaging curriculum, with the Governing Body providing the same strategic direction for the Federation.

• Further develop the Leadership Team and engage the staff of both schools, with a shared vision and ambition that upholds the pursuit of excellence;
• Work effectively with the Governing Body towards realising the full potential of the Parish Federation;
• Maintain and improve on the high standards of achievement in both schools;
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers so they continue to engage in their child's education;
• Provide an excellent model of a lived out Faith as well as a professional role model that inspires enthusiasm and commitment;
