Job overview
School Partnership Trust Academies (SPTA) require an outstanding Executive SENCo, preferably with the National SENCo award or equivalent, who can strategically lead the SEN provision across the SPTA West region of academies. Within the west regional cluster there are five secondary academies, nine primary academies and an alternative provision Free School within the geographical areas of Leeds, Bradford, Kirklees and Wakefield
The successful candidate would be expected to demonstrate willingness and the flexibility to be deployed to support individual Academies within the region at both a primary and secondary level.
As Executive SENCo you will support the development of the SEN agenda across the region. The whole community will need to see you as a highly effective leader who is able to lead by example by being an excellent practitioner.
You will set the highest expectations for yourself and for others. You must be committed to ensuring that all pupils receive an outstanding educational experience that is focused on raising performance at every level.
The successful candidate will be fast tracked onto the SPTA Intermediate/Advanced Leadership Programme, which will provide training and coaching around embedding professional learning and strategic approaches and inspiring and ensuring high quality teaching and learning, overall preparing you for your next career step into senior leadership. This programme will also give the successful candidate the opportunity to gain credits towards a Masters in Educational Leadership.
