This post offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced qualified teacher with at least 3 years' experience, who has a particular interest in SEND and is willing to work towards acquiring the National Award for SEN Co-ordinator.

This post will initially be predominantly classroom based and will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with our experienced Inclusion Teacher and the senior management team. The role will involve managing all aspects of the school's SEND provision liaising with external agencies and supporting our dedicated and friendly staff as the school expands.

This important and strategic post will need someone who:

  • Has an inclusive philosophy
  • Is an excellent teacher who has experience of teaching a wide range of special needs children
  • Has excellent leadership qualities which they want to develop to help contribute to the strategic work of the school
