Experienced Y6 Teacher

The Governors of our very successful school wish to appoint a highly motivated and outstanding teacher who possesses a relentless dedication to school improvement.

Visitors often comment that our school displays a friendly, calm environment where pupils and adults work together as a team. But Cambridge Road is much more than that. Our recent history shows that we have become a confident, ambitious and very successful school, judged 'Good' with outstanding features at our last inspection. As such we are looking for an experienced Y6 teacher with a proven track record for raising academic standards.

This is a significant appointment for our school and, as such, the Governors are willing to negotiate a Recruitment and Retention Allowance for the right candidate.

Visits to the school are very welcome and encouraged. There are two opportunities - Monday 10th November at 11am and Tuesday 11th November at 4pm.

Cambridge Road C P & N School places the highest priority on the safeguarding of children and all applicants will follow a stringent vetting and induction process. As this post involves contact with and access to children it will therefore be subject to an enhanced CRB check. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the outcome of this check. You must provide the names and addresses of two referees on your application form.

Lesson observations will take place on 19th & 20th November.
