The Continental school is now seeking to appoint effective an EYFS, KS1 and KS2 teachers who are committed to driving standards and ensuring every child is challenged to achieve their maximum potential to commence in September 2014. The successful candidates will join an extremely strong, organised and vibrant primary school and teach well motivated and engaged students.

There is a competitive remuneration package which includes a tax free salary, accommodation, medical cover, annual return flight and an end of contract gratuity. Initial contract is normally for one year and renewable by mutual consent. There may be opportunities for additional allowances for posts of responsibility.

The School Campus

The School Campus is situated in El Obour city, a new district on the outskirt of Cairo, about 15/20 minutes by car from Heliopolis. This new campus, which was opened in the year 2000, covers an area of 12,000 square meters of beautifully landscaped ground, swimming pools and sport facilities. The school campus comprises three schools all of which enjoy first class facilities and fully air-conditioned classrooms. The campus is served by a fleet of school buses for the transportation of staff and students.

  1. The Continental Language School (CLS) - The CLS is a mainstream language school that follows the Egyptian national Curriculum but the medium of instruction is English.
  2. The Continental International School (CIS) -  The CIS is a British International school which follows the British National Curriculum.
  3. The Continental school of Cairo (CSC) - The CSC is a small special education school for children with learning difficulties and special educational needs.
