An exciting opportunity is now available for an outstanding Teacher to join the leadership team of Oasis Academy Watermead. This brand new primary Academy will open in Sheffield in September 2014 with a Nursery and a cohort of 60 pupils in Reception. The Academy will be at the very heart of the Shirecliffe and Southey communities, supporting and building upon the excellent work that already exists in the area. It is our aim that all the pupils and their families attending our Academy will develop a true sense of belonging and become actively involved in the life of Watermead.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years leader who will inspire all those around them with their creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning. Our fantastic new facilities will provide outstanding provision both in and out of doors so that our children can become engaged in a variety of experiential learning opportunities. Candidates must have ambition, drive and most importantly, a passion for learning that will inspire our pupils and the Academy community. This is a very exciting role where the successful candidate will be able to shape the future and become part of a highly motivated and dedicated team who will work together to bring alive our vision.

Class observations will be held in shortlisted candidates schools (where possible) during the week of 28th April, 2014
