Come and work with us in our inclusive, vibrant environment* at Sussex Downs College; supporting learners aged 14+ on our three campuses in Eastbourne, Lewes and Newhaven, and in the workplace. Building on our core values we have ambitious aims to improve the achievements, prosperity and well-being of the learners, employers and communities that we serve.

We have recently created six curriculum centres of excellence, each focused on delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment. We are seeking an exceptional person to lead our Vocational Studies Faculty; to work with a dedicated team of staff across a range of disciplines and to take a lead role in delivering high quality Apprenticeships. The Faculty is home to an award winning work-based learning team, and a number of UK Skills medal winners - placing us sixth in the national FE College league tables.

We would like to hear from you if you share our passion for learning, and would like to join an energetic, forward-thinking leadership team. You need a strong grounding in the development of skills and employability, and should be able to draw on recent successful experience in further education, training and skills.
