Full Time Head of English, Cumbria

MPS/UPS + TLR 1B - £9104 (Leadership Spine negotiable for the right candidate)

We believe English should be the subject which touches the hearts and enriches the lives of every child. We are looking for an exceptional Head of English who believes that too, and that therein lies the road to academic excellence for each student. Nothing less will do.

This is an opportunity to lead a highly motivated, enthusiastic department, committed to a collaborative, creative and stimulating approach to teaching and learning. This exciting role will shape and deliver our English curriculum and play an integral role in our vision for success.

We have a fundamental desire to challenge children to achieve better and higher. We don't talk about a passion for teaching; what counts here is caring enough to actually make a life changing difference to the children of our town. If you believe you can lead our English team's contribution to the school's success story, apply.
