Wanted: Gap students to work at SHHS from January to July 2015

This is an opportunity for students to work with pupils aged 4 - 17, to develop leadership skills, coaching skills, motivational ability, and to take responsibility as well as pursuing their own interest in sport, music and other areas.

We are also seeking gap students to support our strong Sports Department with a wide variety of sports including: hockey, netball, football, cross country, rounders, tennis, dance, gymnastics, rock climbing, swimming, Zumba, athletics etc This would include acting as a teaching assistant with classes and groups aged 4 - 17 as well as running practices, teams and clubs.

All gap students would also be expected to support the general working and administration of the school and would have the opportunity to work with departments where they had a special interest such as drama, art, classics, history, science etc

There will also be many opportunities to accompany school trips in London, the rest of Britain and abroad.

Ideally these positions would be full-time. However, for the right candidate, it might be possible to work part-time as part of a job-share.
