General Catering Assistant

10 hours per week - term time + 4 additional days.

General Catering Assistant to assist in the preparation for and in the service of meals and refreshments and undertake associated kitchen duties in a busy school kitchen. Work is carried out in a small team under the supervision of a Catering Manager.

No specific knowledge and experience is required but, if not already possessed, a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate must be achieved within, ideally, six months of commencement.

You will have basic literacy and numeracy skills.

Please note that the successful candidate will be employed by the governing body, not Northumberland County Council.
