General Science Teacher

URGENT General Science Needed, Secondary

(Our school year starts September 2)

Subject-Area Needed: General Science

Age Group: Age Group: 10-16 in Gymnasium/Secondary (Biology and Chemistry), 6-10 in Primary (General Science)

Contract Term: One Year (Permanent contract can be offered at the end of one year.)

For immediate hire through the next year, we are recruiting a qualified and enthusiastic General Science Teacher to join our supportive and cohesive team.

It is essential that the successful candidate shows a willingness to work collaboratively and plan across the curriculum to meet the needs of learners, and have the desire to work closely with parents, support the school and school events.

MIS is looking for candidates with these qualities:

• A qualified, certified Science teacher with successful teaching experience
• Willingness to teach Science to all grades at the school (3-10)
• Impressive subject expertise and confidence in communicating this;
• IGCSE experience preferred
• Determination, ability and commitment to supply the best possible educational experience for all students in an international setting
• English speaker;
• Ability to inspire high achievement in young people from all backgrounds;
• Presence, dynamism, a good sense of humor and approachability;
• Excellent record of attendance and punctuality;
• Ability to work as part of a team.
