Geography Teacher needed to develop teaching and learning within a brand new school.

Leading academy sponsor ARK Schools will open Bolingbroke Academy, a four form entry school in south Battersea, in 2012. Bolingbroke Academy will offer an outstanding education with strong parent involvement and local community support. This is a rare opportunity to teach geography within a brand new academy located in refurbished buildings next to Wandsworth Common, and to develop the academy's curriculum. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the history teacher to develop the humanities department, and take on a role that has potential to grow into a leadership position. As a new-start school, we are not able to take on NQTs in our first year.
We are looking for an outstanding geography teacher, with the ability to teach citizenship also, and a commitment to academic excellence and helping every child succeed.
