Broadland High School is a popular 11-16 rural comprehensive school situated close to the Norfolk Broads. This is a good school which has high aspirations for its students.

We are looking for an inspiring, outstanding practitioner to lead in this exciting area of the curriculum. We expect the person appointed to be instrumental as a leader of a core curriculum area in moving our school from good to outstanding. Broadland High Ormiston Academy is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational secondary school in Norfolk, serving students from the age of 11-16. The secondary school, situated in Norwich has approximately 698 students on record. 

Broadland High Ormiston Academy was established in 1958, and was identified as good by Ofsted in 2016. Facilities include dedicated music, PE and DT rooms.

Broadland High Ormiston Academy focuses on guiding all students throughout their years in secondary school and wants them to succeed as confident, independent and resilient young adults, ready for the challenges and opportunities in the 21st century. Broadland High Ormiston Academy has the Artsmark award and Healthy Schools status. It has specialist status for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and mathematics.
