Head of Art/Teacher of Art, Reading

John Madejski Academy is seeking an outstanding teacher with a clear vision to shape the future of Teaching and Learning in Art. This is a fixed term contract to cover for the current Head of Art who is going on maternity leave. The successful candidate will be expected to teach across the age and ability range of the Academy and drive standards and results upwards in Art.

You will be:

  • An excellent qualified teacher of Art.
  • An innovative practitioner who can motivate students and achieve excellent results.
  • Be able to give clear direction to teaching and learning across the department.
  • Be willing to work as part of a team to ensure all students reach their full potential.
  • Be able to teach all key stages including A-level and preferably experience of teaching L3 BTEC Art
