Job Description

We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and creative Biology teacher to join our dynamic and motivated department.

As Head of Biology you will lead on all aspects of Biology teaching, promoting interest in the subject across the full age range of the school. You will have specific responsibility for tracking the progress and attainment of students' who study the separate Sciences in Year 9, 10 & 11. You will also have responsibility for our large numbers studying Biology at A Level.

We will expect you to manage and develop a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for the subject area. There is the opportunity to make a big impact on standards of student attainment and achievement through your fresh ideas, motivational skills and keen focus on improvement.
