Highbury College are looking for a Head of Business Intelligence and Planning (MIS).

Main Duties:

  • Oversee the College Information Services Department, to promote high staff motivation and morale, working towards outstanding provision and services in line with Highbury College's vision, mission, strategic priorities and objectives.
  • Collation and publication of College Information from all sources.
  • Compilation, quality assurance and submission of all statutory FE and HE student information requirements including the ILR.
  • Operational management of all aspects of EBS, EBS Agent and EBS Web Products including data management.
  • Lead role in curriculum planning and quality assurance with academic managers.

Essential criteria:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.
  • Proven experience of working with management information within an educational environment.
  • Experience of successfully initiating and implementing new systems, processes and procedures.
  • Highly literate and numerate.
  • Excellent administration, organisational and prioritising skills.
  • Strong technical IT skills including understanding of relational databases, associated query languages and Office software.
  • Good Presentation Skills.
  • Very strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of safeguarding in the context of education.
  • Self-motivated and flexible.
  • Committed to achieving College objectives.
  • Enthusiastic.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with integrity.
