Job overview

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of Science, whose specialism is Chemistry, to join a very experienced team of teachers. The successful candidate will take a lead in developing the Chemistry curriculum alongside the Heads of Physics and Biology and join them in being Assistant Heads of Science.

We offer a range of GCSE courses including the three separate Sciences at both Key Stage 4 and Advanced Level. As a Specialist Technology College we have some outstanding facilities and resources including excellent provision of ICT throughout the College.

You will work with a team of committed teachers who are working hard, collaboratively to raise standards to a high level by providing an appropriate curriculum at both Key Stages. The results in Science and the College as a whole have improved considerably over the past few years achieving amongst our best ever GCSE & A' Level Results in 2014. This is a challenging opportunity for an outstanding Teacher who has a successful background in Science and can develop the curriculum in Chemistry to become an exciting and rewarding experience at GCSE and Advanced Level.
