From January 2015 we are keen to appoint a highly motivated and outstanding Head of Computing. This full-time permanent role would ideally suit an experienced Teacher of Computing seeking the next step of leading a small department or an outstanding and ambitious recently qualified Teacher of Computing ready for this challenge.

This permanent role offers a wonderful opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of computing to join a forward looking rural school. Our recent Ofsted awarded us 'Good' across all areas. Our pupils make excellent progress and our KS4 examination results are on a rising trend.

Our Computing Department has excellent facilities with 3 computer rooms all equipped with high specification networked computers, a computer suite for Design Technology and Interactive Whiteboards in all classrooms. We are also very well resourced with banks of laptops and headphones available for use in the classroom.

The successful applicant will be a talented Teacher of Computing with a passion for their subject and ready to take the next step in their career.

Test Valley School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, 11-16 comprehensive secondary school, situated on the outskirts of Stockbridge in Hampshire. There are 551 pupils on the school roll.  

At Test Valley School, which is a small secondary school, a wide variety of sporting, academic and expressive arts activities complement the formal curriculum. Facilities for PE include a new sports hall, large gymnasium, tennis courts, playing fields and a full-size open-air heated swimming pool.
