We are a well-established successful school where pupils start their learning journey with us in Foundation One through to Year 13, becoming part of our JAS family where we embrace academic excellence and personal well-being and happiness.

Our aim is to guide each individual child through these most important formative years of learning and to give them a ‘head start’ in life. JAS pupils become responsible, well-balanced and caring young people, able to face the next stage of schooling with confidence and enthusiasm.  We try hard to ensure that they develop the attitudes and habits, the mindset if you want to put it in those terms, of successful learners.

We believe that intelligence can grow, or, as developmental psychologists would say, is incremental, and that children who are encouraged to be resilient and to learn from their experiences will achieve far more than those who believe that intelligence is a fixed entity.

The happiness of our children is vital, because this lays a secure foundation for their success at School.  Whilst encouraging each child to attain the highest academic standards of which she or he is capable, we develop the whole child and provide ample opportunities in sports, music and the arts. We also encourage good manners and respect for others.

We have a wonderful team of staff who work hard to bring the best out of the children. We also have hugely supportive parents and the partnerships that are formed between pupils, staff and parents are a very important part to our success.

At JAS we have created a warm, family atmosphere where everyone feels valued.  Everything that happens here is for the benefit of our pupils. Jebel Ali School is a vibrant school which offers a challenging education for inquisitive children who are eager to engage fully with the world in which they are growing up. JAS children are bright and inquisitive individuals, each with unique abilities, interests and aspirations.

Our vision is to create a community that never stops believing that better is always possible and our mission is for each individual to belong, believe and become better than they thought they could.

To belong. By celebrating our differences through authentic relationships we ensure individuals feel like valued, confident, and happy members of JAS - a community with a long standing tradition and heritage of inclusivity and investment in the whole person.

To believe. By exuding positivity and trust, we empower and motivate ourselves to be resilient in the face of adversity.

To become. By embracing opportunities; mastering skills and achieving aspirations, we work together to empower and motivate our students to become better than they believed they could be.

Belong. Believe. Become. Better is always possible.
