Swallow Hill Community College opened on the 01 July 2013 and is sponsored by Academies Enterprise Trust (AET). We are looking to appoint a Head of Department for science who will be responsible for proactively mentoring, developing, supporting and leading an already cohesive department of Science teachers of varying levels of experience. This is an excellent opportunity to raise attainment and improve core standards at this recently formed Academy working within a dynamic and committed faculty with a fresh outlook. This is a genuine chance to demonstrate excellent leadership and management capability and implement your proven track record of outstanding, innovative and inspiring teaching.

The successful candidate will be will be able to model outstanding practice, demonstrate innovative and inspirational methods of teaching whilst able to inspire the team and students alike. Through the delivery of an exciting curriculum you will be able to ensure the best learning outcomes for students, significantly raise attainment, improve standards and be an integral part of the Academy's future success.
