Mayfield Preparatory School is a highly successful over-subscribed selective Independent School (IAPS) with over 200 boys and girls, aged 2 - 11 years.
We seek an appropriately qualified, enthusiastic teacher, with experience of teaching in Key Stage 1 and 2. The Head of English will be responsible for maintaining the high standards and leading the development of this department. The successful candidate will need to be a confident, committed, dynamic classroom practitioner and a caring professional with high expectations of pupil attainment, able to form excellent relationships with parents, pupils and colleagues.
The post holder will be a Form Teacher and expected to teach other subjects across the curriculum to a high standard.
