The role of the Head of English (ESL) is critical in coordinating the development of language proficiency across the College. An effective and organised leader with SAT and TOEFL experience is required.

The Dulwich College International High School Programme first opened in 2010 and offers a three and four year preparation course for Chinese High School students who wish to gain entry to universities worldwide. Students study for IGCSE and A Level examinations and participate in a number of extra-curricular activities and service projects.

Successful establishment of the programme has led to the development of a new project in Suzhou. Opening in September 2012 with approximately 300 academically talented students, the programme will be located in a modern, well resourced facility for one year before relocating to purpose built premises near Dulwich International College Suzhou, where it will expand to 1000 students. Enthusiastic and dynamic subject teachers that are willing to actively participate in a range of activities and support the holistic nature of the school are encouraged to apply.

Recently voted as one of the most 'liveable' regions in China for expatriates, Suzhou is 22 minutes by fast train from Shanghai and combines ancient history and culture with the infrastructure and amenities of a dynamic, modern city.
