Due to internal promotion, a great opportunity has arisen to lead an English department with a proven track record in an ambitious school. The appointed candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, demonstrate leadership skills and have the commitment to raise the achievement of students at all levels. The English department is part of a faculty structure with 7 specialist staff and works alongside Modern Foreign Languages to share best practice.

Waseley Hills High School has academy status and is a Specialist Business and Enterprise college with academic success in many areas. The English department is well developed with excellent potential and strong teaching staff. We seek someone who would enjoy working in an exciting and rewarding environment and is prepared to contribute fully to school life.
