The post of Head of English and Secondary English Teacher is now available for August 2014. The successful applicant will teach KS3/4 English for up to 27 periods a week and will be responsible to manage the English Department as well as to coordinate the Faculty of English, Humanities and Modern Foreign Languages. The post holder will work closely together with the Head of Secondary and Director of Studies on key aspects of school self-review and curriculum innovation. You will join a small but dynamic leadership group and have direct influence on the future direction of the school at an exciting time in our development.
Applications are invited from creative and ambitious colleagues who are fully qualified UK teachers with management experience and ideally with previous work experience in Thailand or internationally.
- A good Honours degree, preferably from a British university.
- Qualified Teacher Status, (PGCE minimum)
- Recent experience of international schools and the Cambridge curriculum
- Recent experience as a teacher in the UK is preferred

Headstart International School Phuket is a mixed, mainstream, all-through with sixth-form, international school in Phuket, Thailand. It caters to students aged 2 to 18 and has approximately 1150 pupils enrolled across two campuses on the island.
